FDA-LAUNCHING FILMS AND ADVERTISING

By looking at the FDA it will help me understand what tools market distributers use in attracting their audience. I will apply this research to help me attract my audience when it comes to creating my opening scene.




I watched a few films to help me understand the marketing objective which is to create visibility and rase awareness to engage interest to the targeted audience.


I also listened to Hugo Grumbar who helped me understand target audience. The most important statement he made was talking about the strategic decisions a distributer makes according to when and how they will release a film in order to optimise its chances.

He explained that focussing on the audience is a key idea. A detailed understanding of my target audience, for example the age group, gender, but also lifestyles, social networks and media consumption always helps a distributer make the right decisions as to how they will promote their film. These are a few of the ideas i will have to apply when creating my own opening film.
