Research:Social Satire

Satire is the  use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices. Today we looked at a variety of social satires including the Daily Telegraph and social stereotypes. The television comedy Absolutely Fabulous helped us look into, and understand better of these satires as it portrays a variety of different stereotypes.

Little Miss Sunshine shows a family determined to get their young daughter into the finals of a beauty pageant, taking a cross-country trip in their VW bus

Munnabhai which is about a gangster who sets out to fulfill his fathers dream of becoming a doctor 

  1. City lights portrays the struggles the tramp takes in helping a blind flower girl he has fallen in love with
